FAQ

Nvitis frequently asked questions

Short answers about Nvitis, the institutional memory and context layer for complex organizations, and Nvitis Education for school districts.

About Nvitis

What is Nvitis?

Nvitis is the secure institutional memory and context layer for complex organizations. It connects the systems you already use into one governed record and preserves the why behind decisions as Living Storyboards.

What is a Living Storyboard?

A Living Storyboard is a chronological record of an initiative or body of work. Each entry is a real event or document, with a short narrative that explains what it is, why it was chosen, and what happened next. The original file stays linked.

Does Nvitis replace Microsoft 365, Workday, or our SIS?

No. Nvitis sits on top of the systems you already have. It does not ask you to move files into a new drive.

Who is Nvitis for?

Complex organizations that work across many systems and cannot afford to lose the why when people leave. School districts are the first vertical on the same platform. That product is Nvitis Education.

Is Nvitis a chatbot?

No. A chatbot answers and forgets. Nvitis builds a lasting record, with sources attached, so people and AI agents work from what the organization actually decided.

About Nvitis Education

What is Nvitis Education?

Nvitis Education finds curriculum gaps. Districts subscribe to Nvitis, and with Companion Materials their teams produce companion supports for them. The three components are Materials Analysis, Companion Materials, and Living Storyboards.

How does Materials Analysis work?

Materials Analysis has two parts. Gap Analysis lines up each required standard with the materials teachers can use and with your exams and student performance reports, then ranks the gaps by what to fix first. Overlap Analysis shows where your materials cover the same standards more than once, so you can see what you may be paying for twice.

Where does a first engagement start?

It usually starts with Materials Analysis on one subject, grade band, or priority-standards set. You get a ranked list of what to fix first, and districts subscribe to Nvitis so their teams can use Companion Materials to produce companion supports for those gaps.

How is Nvitis different from AI lesson-planning tools?

Classroom AI tools help a teacher create a lesson or worksheet fast. Nvitis works at the district level. It checks whether each required standard has usable support, where students are struggling, and what to fix first, then keeps that finding in a Living Storyboard. Teachers can keep using the classroom tools they like.

How is this different from a curriculum mapper?

A mapper shows that a standard appears in a unit. Appearance is not usable support. Nvitis classifies whether the routine or materials are missing, weak, or unfindable, and ranks that against your exam and performance results.

What the demo covers

For organizations

How the Unified Semantic Index connects your systems, and what a Living Storyboard looks like: a chronological record that links back to the original files.

For school districts

Nvitis Education on one subject, grade band, or priority-standards set, with a Materials Analysis: a Gap Analysis that ranks which standards lack usable support and what to fix first, and an Overlap Analysis that shows where your materials cover the same standards more than once.
